Why does Hello World Crash GSClient

After completing the "Getting Started" tutorial up to this point:  http://appstudio.verivo.com/display/gscontent/Run+an+App+in+a+Simulator

Upon logging in, gsclient crashes. "Unfortunately, GSClient has stopped".

I am brand new to this framework so I don't even know what additional information to offer, but I'm on Windows 7 using Android Virtual Device Manager. My AVD is AVD_for_Nexus_S_by_Google, Platform 4.2, API Level 17. I left all the default options except RAM, which I bumper up to 512.

Any ideas?

Just an update, I switched to an AVD using Google API Level 16 and everything worked as expected. There must be some problem with the 17 API.

Glad to hear you resolved it. If you are running Android OS 4.2, then API Level 17 should have worked. However, we only support up to Jelly Bean OS 4.1, which is why it worked when you changed it to API Level 16.

When will Android 4.2 be officially supported?  We have a client with a Galaxy Nexus running 4.2 and they get the "Unfortunately {ProductName} has stopped." message when first logging in.

We are running Verivo 7.4.7 in production.

    Thanks.
