Using scripting to populate localization language tables

Hi, we already maintain localization files for various languages in a central location. If we wanted to use those files for localization - is there a way we could get the data from these files into the locale database that Verivo app server uses internally? This would enable us to centrally manage localization files. The localization strings for a particular language would come from a web service call.

Currently, we are forced to define the strings within Verivo internally. Most of these strings are defined in separate language files already. We would like to get the translations from a web service and integrate with the Verivo locale database so we can continue to manage these centrally. If we write a script and populate the localisation table ourselves - would that work? All we want to achieve is avoid manual maintenance of the language strings in multiple places. This will require pre-defining all the locales beforehand.
