Login hook

Hi

We are required to integrate our authentication with Airwatch MDM provided device id database to ensure that the device used to connect to Verivo App server is valid in Airwatch MDM. Appreciate if you could let me know the best way to achieve this. We are currently using Integrated Auth cwhere the user authentication is done by a reverse-proxy. Also please let me know if the device id format used by Airwatch MDM is the same as Verivo.

Thanks

Kanishka

    Hi Emily,

Thank you for the response. The application is targeted to all the devices; following are the targeted OSs: BB: 5.x and above, IPhone: 4.0 and above, IPad: 4.2 and above, Android: 2.1 and above. The client requirement is that we have a replicate db at the client site due to the physical location of the Airwatch MDM server. I am still waiting on the database level details from the MDM team & will let you know asap. You are correct in your assumption that the user is logged in with his integrated username and password; additionally we need to authenticate the device id with Airwatch MDM. One of the main problems we have is that we have WebSeal reverse proxy between the device & app server and the user must be authenticated at WebSeal before accessing Verivo App server.  We are using Basic Auth so that WebSeal can pickup the user credentials from the header. Is it possible for us to somehow validate the deviceID at the App Server level with this type of configuration.

    Thanks

    Kanishka
