BlackBerry pull deployment

We are trying to use the pull deployment method for BlackBerry (OTA).

We have a current BlackBerry app deployment that uses the pull method by pointing users to a .jad file.
We see that there is a build for each OS (5.0, 6.0, 7.0), and in each OS folder, there are six .jad files.

Which .jad files should they use? Are there any other steps that need to be done in order to deploy OTA?

    • Hi Garon,

Which exact cod/jad files do we need to copy over to the deploy folder? From the guide this was mentioned:

Copy the .cod and .jad files into the appropriate location within the deploy folder—for example:
      ..\Inetpub\wwwroot\PyxisMobile73\deploy\BB\5.0\

For more help determining which files are appropriate for your licensed products, contact Verivo customer support.

      Thanks,
      Riah

    Hi Garon,

We followed the steps provided in the guide and put all the .cod and .jad files in the deploy folder (..BB\5.0, .BB\6.0, and ..\BB\7.0)

    ..\Inetpub\wwwroot\PyxisMobile\deploy\BB\

However, we are getting this error when we try to open the page from the browser (PC) or even from an actual BB device:

"A required file for the installation could not be found."

We even tried bouncing IIS but still the same. Is there anything that we've missed? Help please.

    Thanks,

    Riah

Another thing, from the default.aspx page, why does the App Icon has an (X) in it?

    Please see attached screenshot.
